A silver-painted but nude, tuba-playing unicyclist rides through the desert at Burning Man Festival. Balancing her sousaphone, Red was like a mirage and disappeared into a crowd in the Black Rock Playa. The counter-culture celebration is held annually in Nevada and attracts thousands of costumed participants to party. Many performance artists plan unique and strange costumes that are creative and whimsical. There are no spectators, only participants.
